You may feel that you are in a period of accelerated decision-making. You may even feel overwhelmed by the challenges, changes, and uncertainty which are ahead.

You may feel uncertain of how to do many things which your husband took on, and now you are forced to do. Tasks he did to maintain your environment. You want to regain a sense of control and we can certainly highlight when you felt that way before.

You will gain confidence in offering advice to other group members while you will gain information from them. Many widows realize that becoming a widow was choiceless but in moving forward you will have many choices to make. You will be helped to take that first step. You may actually find that in adjusting to your environment without your husband, you have gained that sense of control.
